A memorial for seamen

The inscription says:
Sing ocean from shoro to shore about the sons who fought for peace and paternal legacy they were of same blod and mind they sailed in the glory of Denmark and the peoples freedom.

In danish:
Syng hav
fra bred til bred
om sønnerne der kæmped
for fædrearv og fred
de var af samme blod og sind
de sejled danmarks ære
og folkets frihed ind.

hoist the wind your high song of men whose honor is carried by storm and waves a viking guard whose silent defiance in death himselft won victory and reaches it to us.

In danish:
Løft blæst
din høje sang
om mænd hvis hæder bæres
af storm og bølgegang
en vikingvagt hvis tavse trods
i døden selv vandt sejer
og rakte den til os.
