| The stamping mill
in Svendborg was made in 1770 by six tanners who felt the way was
too long to Red mill at Hvidkilde (estate) a few hundred kilometers
from here. The mill running stopped in 1906, but the three large
shovelwells still turn 24 hours a day. That is, if there's water
in the stream by the mill. The work inside the mill is intact, but
there unfortunately no Admission.
The mill lies by the christiansminde shore, Svendborg. |
