Near Vornæs forest is a low water area wih surrounding meadows. An old hunting field that since 1997 has been preserved. Fyns amt (Funen county) took over this area this year as part of promoting the environment plus to make more areas accessible to those interested in the nature. In this case vegetation and birds that thrive in this area. In connection to this a bird tower has been build. It has a good view over the area. Here one can observe life secretly.

Also visit Monnet which is Fyns Amts largest seamade beach meadow. Monnet is with its flat wide meadows unik in Fyns amt and was preserved in 1983 initiated by association of environmental preservation. The area is closed in birds breeding period (15/3 - 1/7). The area is at the south of Tosinge.

The tower is open all year.

Cabin
The little wooden cabin on the end of the bridge. On the right is seen some of the fence, which is seen on the picture above. This fence gives the opportunity to hide while studying the birds.

Inside thecabin are seats and tables plus some viewholes. Here are also some plates with descriptions of the species of in this area.
